Winter Classes

Happy Holidays

We have finished our Winter Class Schedule early…Hooray!! It is full of a variety of levels for knitting and crochet. And even a field trip is included in one of the classes!

Just a reminder we have started our Holiday Hours: Monday 11-7, Tuesday – Friday 11-5:30, Saturday 11-5 and Sunday 12-4 until December 23rd. We will be closed December 24th, 25th & 26th for Christmas and December 31st & January 1st for New Years.

Remember if you are finding it hard to finish your projects at home because of everything else that needs to be done, join us on Monday for the Knitting Social starting at 5:00 or come in anytime to enjoy our comfortable couch.

Christmas Walk

La Arcada will be hosting the 14th annual Christmas Walk to begin the holiday season. This festive event is filled with music, holiday lights and a visit from Santa.

Our third and final Yarn Tasting event will be held this October 16th starting at 6 p.m.. 2 Year Anniversary

Our “Stitches” Contest is underway, if you haven’t been by to vote or bring in your entry stop by, we are always accepting entries. Remember they need to be made from yarn purchased at Knit & Pearl this past year with everyone voting on their favorite. The winners will be announced at 4 o’clock.

We are excited to have Andrea Bratt, from B.U.N.S. joining us at 12:30 with her angora bunny Mortimer and her spinning wheel to demonstrate how she spins Mortimer’s fur into angora yarn to make her darling Mukluk booties for that special baby in your life. We will have some for sale along with the angora felted bunny booties. She will also have information about B.U.N.S., and the upcoming Bunny Festival on September 21st. 2 Year Anniversary

Our 2 year anniversary is September 12th with the celebration on September 13th.

We are having our "Stitches Contest" and I would like to invite everyone that has made something from yarn purchased at Knit & Pearl this past year to bring one item in for our annual Stitches Contest. We would like to show off your "Stitches" in the store and have everyone vote on their favorite. There will be prizes for first, second and third place. You can drop your item off anytime starting August 18th, with voting beginning on August 25th.. Everyone can vote as often as they like, but only once a day until September 12th. On Saturday the 13th we will announce the winners at 4:00 during the celebration.
