Tuesdays, July 15th, 22nd, and August 5th
5:30 to 7:30

Blue Sky Alpacas’ fitted tank is perfect for spring and summer, and it's oh-so-easy to make. You can dress it up or dress it down!

Skill: Advanced Beginner

Materials: 3-4 skeins Blue Sky Alpaca’s Dyed Cotton, pattern, size 9 circular in 24” length needles or size needed to get gauge.

Homework: Get gauge and do the ribbing for 6 inches.

Summer knitting with Cotton! We will be sampling our cotton and cotton blend yarns for your summer projects. You will receive a bag with enough yarn to swatch, a trail size of Soak Wool wash and a coupon for 15% off featured yarns. For fun we will rate the yarns and post the results on our Blog. First Sock * Full*

Tuesdays, August 12th and 19th
5:30 to 7:30

Learn what all the excitement is about knitting your own socks! Using Knitting Pure and Simple’s pattern and double point needles, Joanna will teach you the basic sock. Pattern is included.

Skill: Know the long tail cast on, knit and purl.

Materials: Worsted weight yarn and size 6 double point needles.

Homework: Cast on and follow pattern for a total of 5 inches.

Adult Beginning Knitting
Saturday July 12th, 19th & 26th

Learn how to cast on, knit, purl, yarn-over and bind off while creating a
washcloth in this three session class. The class will also cover the
importance of gauge, needle size, reading a label and the difference
in weights of yarn
Skill Level: Excited and eager to learn
Materials: Size 8 needles and one skein worsted weight yarn.
