Fall Class Schedule

Adult Beginning Knitting *Full*
Tuesday September 9th, 16th & 23rd
5:30 to 7:30

Learn how to cast on, knit, purl, yarn-over and bind off while creating a
washcloth in this three session class. The class will also cover the
importance of gauge, needle size, reading a label and the difference
in weights of yarn
Skill Level: Excited and eager to learn
Materials: Size 8 needles and one skein worsted weight yarn.


Felted Entrelac Envelope Bag *Full*
Thursday September 18th & 25th
5:30 to 7:30

Noro Kureyon makes this a colorful purse for those causal weekends. Techniques you will learn are Entrelac and knitting backwards.

Skill: Advance Beginner

Fall is here, come and try our Wools and their blends! You will receive a bag with enough yarn to swatch, a trail size of Soak Wool wash and a coupon for 15% off featured yarns. For fun we will rate the yarns and post the results on our Blog. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited please call to reserve your place.

Fair Isle, also referred to as Two Stranded knitting, is a fun way to bring colors into your knitting. You will learn how to carry two yarns, one in each hand, while reading a chart to create this hat.

Baby Surprise Jacket & Zeebee hat *Full*

This pattern has “stood the test of time” Elizabeth Zimmermann's Baby Surprise Jacket is 40 years old this year. It is made in one piece, then with creative folding, sewing two side seams and buttons it's done. The matching “Zeebee” hat will be made with the left over yarn for a darling baby gift set.
Skill: Advanced Beginner
Materials: Chauntel used 2 skein’s of Lorna's Laces worsted, 24"circular in size for gauge of 5 st's for 1 inch
Homework: Cast on Stitches
