..the Stitches contest winners are

Angela Gresser won first place for her “Lacy Hug-Me-Tight” from Knit 2 Together in Blue Sky Alpaca’s Silk and Alpaca blend.


Second place went to Dee Miko for her Wave scarf made from Blue Heron Yarns in Rayon Metallic



Third place went to Tracy Anderson for her Estonia lace shawl made from Malabrigo Lace.

Thank you to everyone that entered this years contest and came by on Saturday to celebrate with us; it has been a wonderful three years. And if you haven’t had a chance to see these beautiful entries they will be in the window all this week.

Fall Class Schedule

Magic Loop Toe up with a “Pattern”
Tuesdays, September 15th 6:00 to 8:00 September 29th 5:30 to 8:00
The second sock syndrome is solved; make them at the same time with a 40” circular needle and now Chauntel is adding a extra twist to this class, she will bring a book of patterns and you will choose one for your sock. This class is limited to 4 knitters.

Skill level: Know all the techniques for knitting socks.
Materials: One 40” circular needle size 2 or 3 depending on your tension, one skein of Alpaca Sox or Misti Alpaca Sock.

Saturdays, September 19th and 26th 11:00 to 1:00
Learn what all the excitement is about knitting your own socks! Using Knitting Pure and Simple’s pattern and double point needles, Joanna will teach you the basic sock.
Skill: Know the long tail cast on, knit and purl.
Materials: Pattern, worsted weight yarn and size 6 double point needles.
Homework: Cast on and follow pattern for a total of 5 inches.
