Hugs for Haiti

A dear customer Elena Horak has join the Hugs for Haiti group on Ravelry http://www.ravelry.com/groups/hugs-for-haiti----haitian-earthquake-relief
And would like everyone to know that she will be the contact person here in Santa Barbara to mail off all the blocks that are made and dropped off here at Knit & Pearl.
In her e-mail to me she said; While on Ravelry I found this group "Hugs for Haiti" and was immediately drawn to it. They are accepting squares (either knit or crochet) to make into blankets that will be given to the earthquake victims in Haiti. Please join me in creating squares for this very worthwhile project. (I seem to have a need to feed people or make things, whatever that means). I will be picking up your squares at Knit and Pearl and sending them on.”

I think I'll call our Santa Barbara group: Hip to Be Square!
Thank you
Elena Horak

The group is asking for knitted and crochet squares in any sizes and fiber. We do ask that you label the squares so they’ll be able to sort them by fiber before assembling the blankets.
Thank you Elena for taking this on!
