Adult Beginning Knitting
Thursdays, April 9th, 16th & 23rd or Tuesdays, June 9th, 16th, 23rd 5:30 to 7:30
Learn how to cast on, knit, purl, yarn-over and bind off while creating a
washcloth in this three session class. The class will also cover the
importance of gauge, needle size, reading a label and the difference
in weights of yarn.

Skill Level: Excited and eager to learn
Materials: Size 8 needles and one skein worsted weight yarn.

Magic Loop Toe up with a “Pattern”
Tuesdays May 12th, 26th 5:30 to 7:30
The second sock syndrome is solved; make them at the same time with a 40” circular needle and now Chauntel is adding a extra twist to this class, she will bring a book of patterns and you will choose one for your sock. This class is limited to 4 knitters.
Skill level: Know all the techniques for knitting socks. Materials: One 40” circular needle size 2 or 3 depending on your tension, one skein of Alpaca Sox or Misti Alpaca Sock.

This is a great first sweater and perfect for spring. It has a lacey yoke and is worked in the round for easy finishing.

This is a fine delicate lace weight cardigan that is in the Spring‘09 issue of Interweave Knits. It has sweet, barely there bell sleeves and a single rib-edged neckline. It has a clever, simple construction that is easy to knit and flattering to wear.
Material: 880 yards of Eco Butterfly lace weight yarn, size 7 needle in 12” circular or dpn’s, size 2 & 4 in 24” circular needles or size to get gauge.

Clapochet

The “Clapochet” is the crochet version of the popular knitted Clapotis. It is also worked on the diagonal, with chain spaces throughout. The final result can be worn two ways, scrunched up and worn as a scarf or spread out and worn as a shawl.

Summer is coming and this tote is perfect for taking to the beach or farmer’s market. When you’re not using the bag it folds right into the pouch that is also the tote’s base.
