New Scarf Workshops

We are offering two exciting scarf workshops this fall:

Brioche Scarf Workshop
Saturday, October 20th, 1:00 to 3:00
Brioche translates to "sweet French bread roll made from a dough enriched with eggs and butter" This scarf is so thick and warm it will be a sweet treat on cold days. This pattern use's the provisional cast on, tubular cast on and binds off, I-cord & two-color knitting. Pattern included.
Skill Level: Adv. Beginner
Materials: One dark & one light skeins worsted weight yarn.
Chauntel used Brown Sheep, DPN's size 8 & 101/2, waste yarn, tapestry needle

Zigzag Modular Scarf Workshop
Wednesday, November 14th, 5:30 to 7:30
Have you wanted to try modular knitting? Chauntel will be showing you how easy it is using Iris Schreier (author of Modular Knits) pattern. Pattern included
Skill Level: Adv. Beginner
Materials: Light worsted or sport weight yarn.
Chauntel used Knit One, Crochet Too Ty-Dy Cotton, and size 7 needles.

Leslie here. For the Faux Isle hat, go to http://knithole.blogspot.com/, and go to her Oct. 15 entry. There's a link to Magknits and the pattern, but I wanted you to see the two hats she knit. Yet another great Noro use!
And you're almost right about Peter Fonda, I was more into Dennis Hopper actually (pretty isn't everything, you know).
