Ysolda’s Last Minute Stockings

'Tis the season! Join us in creating these charming Christmas stockings just in time for the holidays. A perfect gift, decoration or keepsake, Christmas stockings are the perfect introduction to sock making - they knit up comparably fast in bulky yarn and you only need to make one! Knit from the toe up, we will be learning some new, interesting techniques: the figure 8 cast-on, a Japanese short row heel and Fair Isle (two color) knitting.

Skill level: Advanced Beginner

Materials required: One skein each of main color and contrast color of Manos del Uruguay, needles to obtain gauge, 12 medium size safety pins, stitch marker and Last Minute Stockings by Ysolda
